You can use wild cards and truncation when you're looking for spelling variants or words that begin with the same character stem. In this case, the Australian and American spellings of organisation can be retrieved by replacing one letter with a question mark.

Use truncation to retrieve variations on a word stem, such as creative creativity creatives. The symbol to use is often an asterisk.
