Institutional sign-in via OpenAthens
Library resources can often be accessed directly via search engines. Look for an institutional sign-in option on the publisher or database website.
OpenAthens is used to authenticate QUT students and staff into Library databases, journals, ebooks and other online information resources.
When researching on the web you can access many publisher website and library databases by looking for an institutional sign-in option. This can sometimes branded as OpenAthens or Shibboleth.
Search for QUT or Queensland University of Technology and click on Queensland University of Technology - QUT. Login with your QUT username and password if prompted.
If two Queensland University of Technology options appear, select the one with the QUT logo labelled Queensland University of Technology - QUT.
If prompted to select your Group or Federation, always select OpenAthens Federation.
