Exporting references to EndNote

How to export references from Library Search to EndNote, the reference management tool which is free to QUT users.

Exporting a single reference

To export a single reference select ENDNOTE (RIS) and download.

Exporting multiple references

  1. Save records (see how to Save to My Favourites).
  2. Select the results you wish to export to EndNote.
  3. Select the ellipsis icon.

  4. Select download.

Known browser issues

EndNote RIS export in Chrome

If you are using the latest version of Chrome (v65), you may have a pop-up blocker appearing in the address bar.

Please select "Always allow pop-ups from https://qut.primo.exlibrisgroup.com" - this should then allow you to save the .ris file.

Unable to save EndNote citations on Mac using Safari

There is a known issue with saving references from Library Search to EndNote on Mac computers using the Safari browser.

The easiest way to save references on Mac is to install either a Firefox or Chrome internet browser.
