Readers

The Curriculum Collection has a large collection of readers and many of them are discoverable via the Classroom resources search (via Library Search) and selecting Subject term - Readers filter.

You can also browse the following recommended lists:

• English readers - English readers for primary students
• Indigenous readers - with a focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures. The following series are available:
  • Honey ant readers
  • Indigenous early readers
  • Indij readers
• Readers for English as a second language (ESL) students - stories suitable for adult ESL students, graded at different levels to help improve reading skills. Some may be of interest to school students. Suggested subject headings include:
  • Readers for new literates
  • Readers (Adult)
  • High interest-low vocabulary books.
