Borrow from BONUS+ libraries

BONUS+ is a FREE service that allows all QUT students and staff to request items from participating university libraries across Australia and New Zealand and have them delivered to your preferred QUT Library branch.

Place BONUS+ requests by:

  • Searching for books directly through the BONUS+ catalogue, or
  • Searching for a book in the QUT's classic catalogue or Quick Find. If you cannot find the book you are looking for, or if the book you want is unavailable, you can click on the BONUS+ link to check if the book is available at one of the BONUS+ participating libraries.

Once you have found a book to request in the BONUS+ catalogue simply select the "Request this item" link and follow the prompts.

Expect delivery within seven days, however delivery times will vary depending on which Library your book has been requested from. You will receive an email when your book is ready to collect. The item will be held for you for four days. To check the status of your request log in to My loans and holds.

Loans can be renewed through My loans and holds, and can be returned at any campus library. Note that a BONUS+ loan remains on your library record until the item is checked back in at the supplying library.

Borrowing conditions

All QUT borrowers who lose or damage items obtained from BONUS+ libraries are required to pay a standard replacement cost of $125, set by BONUS+ Consortium members. Replacement copies are not accepted in lieu of payment.
