In Australia, there are two main funding agencies, the Australian Research Council (ARC) and the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC). There are also several Queensland Government and other discipline-specific grants that are available. International funding opportunities are also available to QUT researchers.
QUT Library also provides information on a large number of grants and funding opportunities through the following databases:
For more information on applying for grants, visit the Office of Research's Competitive grant funding page.
All researchers seeking funding should contact the Research Development Unit prior to communicating with funding bodies.
