Teachers - workshops
QUT Library staff design and deliver workshops that assist secondary school students to develop research and study skills for current and future studies. Our team specialises in researching and evaluating information, referencing, academic writing, and developing effective study habits.
Workshops are held at all QUT campuses and require prior notice. Whilst we will endeavour to deliver your requirements there may be times when we need to negotiate further to ensure staff capacity. External visits to schools by QUT Library may be negotiated under exceptional circumstances.
All workshops are free of charge.
|Workshop||Workshop type / Suggested participants|
|Reading and note taking||Student / Years 10-12|
|Referencing with QUT cite|write||Student / Years 10-12|
|Researching for assignments||Student / Years 10-12|

At the start of each workshop or tour, our staff will inform the group of any campus health and safety requirements, but the main responsibility for the welfare and behaviour of your students lies with your school and the attending staff.
QUT staff are not responsible for managing the behaviour of your students. School staff must remain with the group at all times, either at school or at a QUT Library.
