School student borrowing membership

This membership is available to high school students enrolled in Year 10 to 12 at any Queensland school. School authorisation and parental/guardian consent is required. Membership expires at the end of the school year.

Your membership details (including instructions on how to log in to My Library (Community)) and library card will be mailed to you within seven working days of your application being received.

Parent/guardian and school endorsement

School student membership applications must include a scanned copy of a completed School student membership endorsement (PDF, 57KB) form, which provides:

  • parent/guardian consent, acknowledging that the QUT Library collection includes some age restricted materials
  • school authorisation, which is an agreement by the school to indemnify the student for damaged or non-returned items, and to compensate QUT Library according to the Library Borrowing Conditions.
