Alumni borrowing
QUT alumni who have graduated from an award course can borrow hardcopy books from the Library in person, free of charge, with an alumni borrowing card. Former QUT staff members can apply for community borrowing.
Applications are not processed in person at the Library. If you would like to borrow, you must apply online prior to your first visit to the Library.
What does alumni borrowing include?
- Yes You can borrow hardcopy items in person at QUT Kelvin Grove and Gardens Point libraries. Check the Library Borrowing Conditions for details.
- No Postal loans.
- No Ebooks.
- No Library databases and online resources - a borrowing card is not required to access the subset of Library databases available to QUT alumni. Simply log in using your QUT username and password.
- No Request from other institutions.
- No Reciprocal services from other libraries.
Apply for alumni borrowing
You do not need to apply in order to access Library databases. Please refer to Databases for alumni for further information.
This form is for QUT alumni who wish to borrow physical items in person from QUT Library (Gardens Point, Law or Kelvin Grove Library collections). Library borrowing is valid for 5 years and can be renewed after this time.
