Student experience and engagement
- Provide vibrant, welcoming and inclusive physical library spaces
- Host engaging activities
- Partner with students
- Support the use of technologies that promote learning and research excellence
Learning and teaching excellence
- Ensure students have access to the information and library services they need to thrive
- Ensure high-quality QUT Library online resources
- Support the Faculty of Health digital capabilities program
- Support QUT You
Advance open scholarship
- Facilitate open access to the university's research outputs
- Develop a QUT Open Press to support, promote and publish QUT-created open access resources
- Expand the visibility of Open Educational Resources (OER) knowledge and understanding at QUT
Access to information
- Actively collect and promote resources that reflect the diversity, equity and inclusion priorities of the University
- Ensure access to the physical collection meets the contemporary needs of the QUT community
- Champion barrier-free access to low- or zero-cost textbooks
- Ensure online and print collections meet the needs of new courses.
- Support the QUT Indigenous Cultural Intellectual Property Protocols
Research quality
- Support the university's research priorities, particularly:
- reimagining research assessment
- research data management
People and culture
- Equip QUT Library team to be well positioned to meet future opportunities and challenges
- Foster a culture that values user experience and innovation
