Student experience and engagement
- Provide vibrant, welcoming and inclusive physical library spaces
- Enhance student achievements through engaging activities
- Partner with students
- Support learning and research excellence through the use of appropriate technologies
Learning and teaching excellence
- Ensure students have access to the information and library services they need to thrive
- Provide online resources that enhance students' learning experiences
- Collaborate to advance a digital capabilities program
Advance open scholarship
- Facilitate open access to QUT research outputs
- Promote Open Educational Resources (OER) access, publishing and capability at QUT
Access to information
- Actively collect and promote resources reflecting the diversity, equity and inclusion priorities of the university
- Ensure access to physical and digital collections is sustainable and meets the contemporary needs of the curriculum and the QUT community
- Champion barrier-free access to low- or zero-cost textbooks
- Support the QUT Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property Protocol
Research quality
- Support the university's research priorities, particularly: - reimagining research assessment - research data management
- Increase connections with early career researchers
- Develop a library strategy for digital literacy and GenAI
People and culture
- Equip the QUT Library team to meet future opportunities and challenges
- Foster a culture that values user experience and innovation
- Streamline communication channels within the library
