Giving to QUT Library
Donations and gifts of materials to the Library are welcomed and are a valued method for augmenting and enriching the collections and supporting other Library services. The QUT Development Office can advise you on the range of giving opportunities.
Donate by mail or fax
You may print and complete the Giving to QUT donation form (PDF, 236KB) and return it to the address on the form.
Donate by telephone
You can donate over the phone by credit or direct debit by calling the Alumni and Development Office on (07) 3138 9097.
You can also contact the Alumni and Development Office direct for further information on (07) 3138 1657 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Donate by bequest
You may prefer to defer giving and bequest part of your estate to the Library. The University can provide bequest assistance in preparing your will to include a bequest to the Library.
Gifts are selected for inclusion in the collection of the appropriate branch library in accordance with the guidelines established in the Library's Collection Development Policy for the relevant subject area. Once selected, a gift is incorporated into the library collection. In general, a gift is not accepted if the donor wishes to place any limitations on its use or disposal. Gifts are accepted on the understanding that items that are not selected for inclusion in the collections are offered to other libraries or discarded, as appropriate.
For more details, please contact the Liaison Librarian for the relevant discipline, QUT Faculty or School.
