Responsible for the provision of the Library's research data management service for staff and Higher Degree Research students. This service is inclusive of many of the processes and actions required to manage research data using good practice, throughout the research lifecycle, and for current and future research purposes and users.

Duties include:

• providing advice and training around the creation and completion of data management plans, including the use of the Data Management Planning Tool
• enabling researchers to access purchased and external research datasets
• providing advice on appropriate research data storage solutions to suit individual requirements
• assisting researchers to publish and share data through the use of Research Data Finder, QUT's catalogue of research datasets, as well as Software Finder and Spatial Data Finder which are collections within the catalogue.
