Liaison Librarians work directly with academic staff and higher degree research students.

Please note

Principal responsibilities include:

  • individual consultations on:
    • locating and managing information and research data
    • EndNote
    • scholarly publishing, including open access, QUT ePrints and ORCID
    • IFN001 Advanced Information Research Skills (AIRS)
    • locating and analysing publication metrics
    • locating evidence to demonstrate research impact
  • advice and assistance to staff on QUT Readings and copyright
  • ongoing development of the QUT Library collection of databases, books and resources - aligned to the needs of the University
  • teaching into coursework units to provide tailored presentations and/or embedded online guides, videos and interactive tools.
