From 30th July 2007, QUT will supply loans for eight weeks with no renewals, and films and videos for two weeks with no renewals.
QUT Library provides access to the QUT Library collections via document delivery services to other Australian and overseas Libraries. QUT Library provides document delivery services to other libraries only; not to individuals. Individuals requiring documents should contact their own institution's library which may make requests to us on your behalf.
We offer the following service levels:
- Core - 5 day turnaround
- Rush - 1 day turnaround
QUT Library does not offer Express 2 hour turnaround.

Make a request
- Please check the QUT Library Catalogue for branch holdings. Libraries Australia (available to Australian libraries only) shows QUT holdings, but NOT holdings at branch library level. Branch library holdings may be indicated on Libraries Australia Document Delivery by the call number.
- Documents from the branch libraries are supplied by the Document Delivery Offices of each branch library. Please direct your requests to the relevant Document Delivery Office.
- Please return materials requested from a branch library to the Document Delivery Office of that branch.
- QUT both lends items and supplies copies of documents. A summary of conditions is below. For more detail please refer to QUT's Collection Development Manual Section 5.2 Document Delivery, Intercampus Photocopies, Griffith Photocopies and Loans.

Libraries Australia Document Delivery (LADD) system
Three campuses of QUT Library are users of the Libraries Australia Document Delivery system (LADD). Each campus branch can be contacted directly through LADD. Branch holdings information is indicated in the call number by the prefixes:
- CA (Carseldine Campus);
- GP (Gardens Point Campus);
- KG (Kelvin Grove Campus);
- Law Library

QULOC Libraries
The QUT Library is a member of QULOC, the Queensland University Libraries of Cooperation. Standard charges apply to QULOC member libraries unless bilateral document delivery agreements are in place.
Payment Methods
The QUT Library prefers payment either through the LADD Payments system, or by cheque. The QUT Library will also accept payment by Visa Card, Mastercard, Bankcard, American Express and ALIA vouchers.
Libraries are requested to specify which method of payment they will use, with each request.
