System requirements

  1. Adobe Acrobat Reader (version 5.0 or higher) (Download Acrobat Reader)
  2. Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 6.0 or higher), or an alternative browser such as Mozilla Firefox (Download Firefox)

How to login to the desktop delivery service

  1. If you have not previously authenticated in the current browser session, you will be prompted to login with your QUT access username and password.

  1. On the Desktop Delivery Service Login screen, enter your QUT e-mail address. Do not use your personal e-mail address.
  2. Enter the PIN provided in your e-mail notifiction. Do not include the brackets [] around the PIN.

  1. In Internet Explorer, select Tools > Internet Options.
  2. Click the General tab.
  3. Under the Browsing history section, click the Delete button.

  1. In Internet Explorer, select Tools > Internet Options.
  2. Click the Security tab.
  3. Select the Trusted sites zone.
  4. Click the Sites button:

How to configure Adobe Acrobat Reader to open outside the browser window

  1. In Adobe Acrobat Reader, select Edit > Preferences.
  2. Choose the Internet category.
  3. Un-tick Display PDF in browser.
  4. Click OK.
