BONUS+ is a service that allows all QUT students and staff to borrow books for free from participating university libraries across Australia and New Zealand.

Placing a request
All requests for books from participating BONUS+ libraries are placed on through the central BONUS+ catalogue. This can be done by:
- Searching for books directly through the BONUS+ catalogue, or
- Searching for a book in the QUT Library Catalogue. If you cannot find the book you are looking for, or if the book you want is unavailable, you can click on the BONUS+ link to check if the book is available at one of the BONUS+ participating libraries.
Once you have found a book to request in the BONUS+ catalogue simply select the "Request this item" link and follow the prompts.

|---|---|---|---|

Loans can be renewed through My Library Profile in the same way you would normally renew a loan from the QUT Library.
Loans cannot be recalled therefore your loan length will always be 21 days.

Collecting and returning items
You will receive an email when your book is ready to collect. You can collect your item from the Learning and Research Desk at the branch library you nominated as the pick up address.
Books can be returned at any campus library by dropping the book into one of the return chutes.
Please note that a BONUS+ loan remains on your library record until the borrowed item is returned checked back in at the library where the book was requested.
