Staff and students at other Australian universities can join QUT Library if their university library is a participant in the University Library Australia membership scheme. Joining the Library as a reciprocal member allows you to borrow books and other materials from all branch libraries (except Caboolture), but does not provide you with Internet access, e-mail or access to the Library's research databases. However, all visitors are able to use a selection of databases for use within the Library. Membership is valid for the current academic year up to the 28th of February of the following year.
To join, take the completed Reciprocal membership application form to the Library Help Desk at any branch library. A current student ID card, or photo ID, and proof of enrolment or employment from your home institution is required when you apply.
