For libraries

Educational associate membership can be purchased by training providers of non-university level courses for their staff and students. The training provide must sign n Educational Associate membership agreement that indemnifies QUT Library against loss or damage of material by their staff or students.

Staff and students can not apply or pay for the membership as an individual. Applications are received from the training provider or their representative. The borrowing cards are returned to the training provider along with a QUT Library invoice. For convenience, applications are usually received and processed in batches.

Associate membership allows you to borrow books and other materials from all branch libraries but does not provide you with Internet access, e-mail or access to the Library's research databases. However, all visitors are able to use a selection of databases for use within the Library.

A membership usually provides 365 days membership from the date of payment and costs $82.50. However, alternative the membership periods and fees may be negotiated. For all information about Educational Associate Membership, please contact the Library Services Manager, Gardens Point Library.
