Reference materials are a good starting point for any assignment topic, as they can help to clarify concepts and keywords, as well as provide an overview of a topic. They include dictionaries, encyclopaedias, directories, handbooks, manuals and so on.

Responsible for education and public awareness, discrimination and human rights complaints, human rights compliance, and policy and legislative development in Australia.
An independent, nongovernmental organization which conducts fact-finding investigations into human rights abuses in all regions of the world. Human Rights Watch then publishes those findings in dozens of books and reports every year, generating extensive coverage in local and international media.
The National Academies supports scientists and academics who have been repressed by their governements for speaking out against Human Rights abuses.
