In this demonstration you will learn how to find Australian industry information using the Australian Bureau of Statistics website http://abs.gov.au

The Australian Bureau of Statistics gathers statistics and related information on all aspects of Australia, including industries

Begin at abs.gov.au

Scroll down

Select Themes - Industry in the far left of the home page

Here we can select an industry to find out more

for example: Agriculture

Agricultural Releases provides links to a wide range of ABS publications

for example: current agricultural publications

Let's have a look at the Australian Wine and Grape Industry

The downloads tab gives you a link to the latest PDF document

Note that this document includes many statistical tables as well as textual information

You may find the Related Information tab useful

Time series gives statistics going back for several years

You can often find useful and current information in feature articles

Other related sources of information has links to non-ABS data.
