The Researchers' Centre is for QUT staff and postgraduate students undertaking university research. It provides
- networked workstations (some with lap top plug and play access)
- desktop access to the eLibrary's digital resources such as databases, the catalogue, Internet resources
- printing facilities
- meeting rooms
- one-to-one consultation with Liaison Librarians about your research information needs
The Centres are open while the branch library is open.
Gardens Point - Level 7, V Block
The librarians are available between the weekday hours of 9:00am and 5:00 pm and consultations may be arranged outside these hours by appointment.
Kelvin Grove - Level 3, D Block (enter via the Library, Level 3, R Block)
The librarians are available between the weekday hours of 10:00am and 5:00 pm and consultations may be arranged outside these hours by appointment.
There are four PCs that be booked using the diary on the bench at the entrance to the Centre.
Access
Entry is via Swipe Card Access. Eligible clients should receive automatic access to the Centre at their home campus. Clients based at other campuses can access the Researchers' Centres on other campuses, but will not receive access automatically.
