Hints for locating topographic maps of Australia in the catalogue. Go to the Geoscience Australia Place Name Search. Search for and select the place name you are interested in. Note the 100K MAP No. (for example, the 100K MAP number for Ipswich is 9442) and search on this in the Library catalogue. This will retrieve both 1:100,000 and 1:25,000 map series.
