    What is Google Scholar?

    A scholarly search engine that indexes scholarly literature across many sources including peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts and articles, from academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories, universities and other scholarly organizations. A large amount of Open Access (OA) content is freely available via this search engine.

    When should I use Google Scholar?

    For quick searches for articles, papers and theses. For extensive searches of scholarly literature we recommend using both Quick Find and the relevant databases for your subject.
