Alert:

QUT Students: You must register for an individual TLF username and password using your University email address. You will be asked to provide some personal details, and choose a password. These details will be validated before you can access the content. (A validation message from TLF will be sent to your university email account for that purpose). Please note that the supplier requires that both new and continuing students need to register each year to access content via the TLF repository.

    The Le@rning Federation (TLF) is developing high quality online curriculum content for years P-10 in two formats: interactive multimedia learning objects and digital resources. The materials are designed to engage students and support teachers and are freely available to all Australian and New Zealand schools - state, independent, and Catholic. TLF is a collaborative initiative of Australia's State, Territory and Commonwealth governments and the New Zealand government and is delivered on behalf of the Australian Education Systems Officials Committee (AESOC).

    As of January 2008 the TLF online repository, with its comprehensive browse and search functionality, holds more than 2100 interactive learning objects and 3600 digital resources (film clips, photos, sound files, digitised art works, documents, maps, etc). These numbers are expected to double in the next 18 months. From mid February 2008 enhanced features of the repository will include the ability to view search results on timelines and Google™ maps. In addition, tools to assist users prepare challenging and dynamic 21st century teaching and learning activities will also be available in the repository.
