- PLoS Neglected Tropical Diseases: launched in November 2007, it is the first open-access journal devoted to the world's most neglected tropical diseases (NTDs), such as elephantiasis, river blindness, leprosy, hookworm, schistosomiasis, and African sleeping sickness.
- PLoS Hub for Clinical Trials:collects PLoS journal articles that relate to clinical trials. The Hub is a site for researchers to share their views and build a dynamic, interactive community.
- PLoS ONE: features reports of primary research from all disciplines within science and medicine. Published papers are made available for community-based open peer review involving online annotation, discussion, and rating.
