You will be required to present your QUT ID card to access this resource. To access this database, collect the CD-ROM / DVD from the Gardens Point Library Help Desk (Level 3). This product may only be used on non-networked computers A and B in the Course Reserve area.

Description:

MapView consists of two main datasets:

• raster images - the key map background and high resolution orthophotos (aerial photos that have been corrected to remove distortions caused by camera tilts and the effect of changing ground elevation)
• vector data - information on themes, drainage, contours, feature names and symbols.

This data is structured into the following six themes, each including several of the following data layers:

• system
• aerial photography
• transport
• topography
• culture
• symbols.
