eBIMAP is the Brisbane City Council's online mapping service. It is an online geographic information system (GIS) providing Brisbane land, property and assets information, produced by the Brisbane City Coucil. Use eBIMAP to find council information via geo-spatial mapping technology.
eBIMAP only provides the City Plan graphic layers not City Plan documentation. You need to use the Brisbane City Plan Profession for City Plan documentation.
It is available at Gardens Point Campus, in the VLAB Desk on Level 2
eBIMAP features and benefits:
- It is compatible with Windows and Macintosh
- It gives comprehensive information on properties in the Brisbane area
- It offers unlimited access for all functions, including viewing, reporting and printing
- It is a superior GIS (geographic information system) analysis tools such as spatial buffering and attribute queries
- An efficient search engine allows you to search on address, lot, plan number, Map Grid of Australia (MGA) coordinates and postcode
- It offers access to ISO standard metadata on map layers, with information on the origin and accuracy of the data
- It has a high quality printing from A4 to A0 formats in portrait and landscape, including map exports into email-ready .pdf files
- It has an exceptional digital aerial imagery including 1946 and 1999 aerial photos
Also
- Suburb names and boundaries do not display at scales less than 1:5000
- It allows stormwater culvert with plant number, stormwater gully inlet and stormwater flow arrows at scales less than 1:1000
- It offers a clear City Plan Area Classification
- It generates selection sets using State Electoral Boundary
