Peer Advisers can help

Who are they?
Peer Advisers are experienced, current students who assist you with the skills and strategies for successful academic study, research and writing. They can help with:
- Using the Library catalogue to find your course texts
- Finding journal articles and information for assignments
- Managing your time
- Improving your academic writing
- Developing strategies for teamwork/group work
- Learning how to reference and cite information
Where are they?
They are located on the Learning and Research Desks of each branch library at certain periods of the day during the week, and they also assist as part of the mobile services that operate in each Branch library. You can't miss their them in their distinctive green shirts.
Next time you see them, say "hello". They understand what you're going through!
Peer Advisers assist with enquiries to the level of their expertise, and they play an important role in connecting students to other learning resources and services in the University. If you need more assistance, they will refer you to professional Library staff (librarians and academic skills advisers) or other services and staff at QUT.
